Mr. Ronda Black

Mr. Ronda Lawrence Black, 73, of Winston-Salem, a loving husband, father and grandfather passed away Friday, July 24, 2009 at his home. Mr. Black was born April 30, 1936 in Forsyth County to the late, Samuel Harrison and Stella Pope Black. He Co-Owner of Black Tile Co. and was a member of Pinedale Christian Church. Mr. Black love sports, particularly, Archery and Golf. He was crazy about his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Colleen Black Ryan, and a brother, Bill Black. Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, Barbara Sink Black of the home; three children; Teresa Krause and husband Van, Gary Black and wife, Melinda Black, Bing Black and wife, Donna all of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren; Kevin, Krystal, Mishelle, Jakob and Nick; three great grandchildren; two brothers; Sam Black, Jr., Carney Black and a sister, Ruby Proctor all of Winston-Salem. The Family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Sunday, July 26 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, July 27 at Pinedale Christian Church, officiated by Rev. Bob McCaskill. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
