Mr. Richard Lee Stafford

High Point - Mr. Richard Lee Stafford, 86, passed away September 6, 2013 at High Point Regional. 'Dick' was born November 19, 1926 to the late Effie Smith Stafford and F.C. 'Ham' Stafford. Mr. Stafford was an avid sports fan and vegetable gardener, and a longtime member of Kernersville Moravian Church. Surviving are: his wife Molly; a daughter, Jeannine Buffey and husband Don; two sisters: Grace Tilley and Maxine Crutchfield; a special niece, Syretta Simmons; and three special nephews: Greg Tucker, Ryan Simmons, and Joe Tucker. A service will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, September 9, 2013 at Kernersville Moravian Church in the Historic Chapel with Rev. Ray Mims and Pastor Lisa Mullen officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to the Kernersville Moravian Church Band at 504 South Main Street Kernersville, NC 27284.
