Larry Blaine Wagoner, 65, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with ALS. Larry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He owned Wagoner Landscaping after being employed with Sears for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth C. Wagoner and sister, Betty Jane. He is survived by his wife, Sue of 27 years, daughter, Renee Wagoner of Wilmington, daughter, Mendi Wagoner of Cary, NC, and a son, David (Elizabeth) Wagoner of Cary: Sue's children, Terri (Brent) Burton, Karen (Dean) Smith of Advance, and Tim (Laurie) Arant of Charlotte; sisters, Judy Lovette, Darlene Crater, and a brother, Harvey (Phyllis) Wagoner of Hamptonville; ten grandchildren; special buddy, Jeffrey Long; beloved dog, Allie. The Funeral Service will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Silas Creek Parkway with Rev. Mike Waters officiating. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 3:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the Service. Burial will follow in the Parklawn Memorial Park, Peter's Creek Parkway.
