Mr. Jackie Dean Waddell

Mr. Jackie Dean Waddell, 64, went home to be with his Lord on December 02, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born August 11, 1946 in Spartanburg, SC to Ben Junior and Nettie Mae Cash Waddell. Mr. Waddell resided in Valley, AL where he was a retired crane operator and truck driver. Jackie was preceded in death by his wife Joanne Friend Waddell and his parents. He is survived by his children, Rodney Dean Waddell and wife Tracey, and their two children, Shelbey and Audrey, all of Summerfield, N.C.; daughter Tina Kilci and husband Murat, and their children, Konner and Kate, all of Pembroke Pines, Fl.; and daughter Shondra Delane Hooper and her children, Savannah and Elias, all of Charlotte NC; a sister Claries Gay Wiggins and husband Ken; and two brothers, Joe Wayne Waddell and Randy Lynn Waddell and wife Sue. A service will be conducted 9:30 am Monday, December 6, 2010 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Dowell officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home 3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston Salem, NC 27103. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B.
