Mr. Hubert Arthur Osborne

Kernersville- Mr. Hubert Arthur Osborne, 77, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2011 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born December 19, 1933 in Wilkes County to the late David Spencer and Cora Stamper Osborne. Mr. Osborne was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and later served with the Army Reserves. Preceding him in death was a brother, Tom Osborne. Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Shelton (Billy Ray) and Karen Darnell (Mike); two grandchildren, Melissa Dawn Darnell and Amber Marie Darnell; brother, Sam Osborne (Sandra); sister, Louise Bullard; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor James M. Brown officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
