Mr. Glenn Richard Tufo

KERNERSVILLE-Glenn Richard Tufo, 55, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 at his home. He was born January 6, 1956 in Boston, MA to Anthony Tufo and the late Mary Helen Nobilio Tufo.

Mr. Tufo volunteered and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam and retired from US Airways after many years of service as an Avionics Technician. In April of 1985, Glenn was selected for membership into the Delta Alpha Chapter of Tau Alpha Pi, the engineering Technology Honor Society, and went on to graduate with honors from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA.

In addition to his father, Anthony Tufo of Maine surviving are his wife, Sandra Tufo of the home; a son, Jonathan Glenn Tufo; twin daughters, Micaela and Tammy Tufo all of Kernersville; grandson, Brandon Pegram; three brothers, Ronald Anthony Tufo of ME, Gary Stephen Tufo of MA, and Mark Robert Tufo of CO; one sister, Lyndsey Tufo Drotar.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, April 29, 2011 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with Rev. Phil Hulen officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Kernersville Wesleyan Church Benevolence Fund, 930 N. Main St., Kernersville, NC 27284.
