Mr. Gerald Dean Goin

Gerald Dean Goin, 50, passed away Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Carolinas Medical Center. He was born July 21, 1962 in Guilford County. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and having a good time. Gerald loved NASCAR, racing, fishing, and working on cars. He was a Diesel Mechanic for Alexander's Automotive in Clemmons. Preceding him in death was his father, Boyd H. Goin. Surviving are a son, Samuel ""Sammy"" Dean Goin; mother, Rachel Shore of Lewisville; two sisters, Faith Gurganus (Van) of Lewisville and Lydia Rierson of Thurmond; two brothers, Boyd Wayne Goin (Carol) of Welcome and Mark Anthony ""Tony"" Goin (Debbie) of Wilkesboro; a nephew and several nieces, aunts and cousins, also surviving is his sweetheart, Kim Laird of Winston-Salem and many friends. A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Friday, June 14, 2013, at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Rev. Lee Strange officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
