Mr. Gary Cole Willis, Sr.,68, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Wednesday, September 04, 2013. Gary was the son of the late Russell Cole Willis and Oma Rowe Lewis Willis. He was born September 6, 1944 in Carteret County. Gary was retired as a Forsyth County Magistrate and was a family man, who loved his children and grandchildren. He was a man who said what he meant and meant what he said. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Cobb Willis and his sister, Barbara Willis Lewis. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Littlejohn Willis, his son, Gary Cole Willis, Jr. and wife, Martha and grandchildren, Ginny and Jack. He is also survived by his step-Children, Laura Moore, Chad Talton and Frank Folb, Jr., grandchildren, Gage S, Kaylea, Kyndal, Kade, Kamryn, Kirra, TK, and Ian, Gary's sister, Beverly Piner and nephews, Gene Lewis and Christopher Piner. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Friday September 6, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A Memorial Service will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Knollwood Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Bob Setzer and The Right Reverend Lane Sapp. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The ALS Association, Jim ""Catfish"" Hunter Chapter, 4 N Blount Street, 2nd Floor, Raleigh, NC 27601
