Mr. Donald Neal Polk

Mr. Donald Neal Polk, 77, of Lewisville, died Friday, December 14, 2012, at his home. He was born March 3, 1935 in Forsyth County to William Claud and Elma Gelenins Polk. Mr. Polk was a veteran of the US Army. He was retired from R.J. Reynolds with over 28 years of service. After his retirement, Don had a long and successful career in the antique business with his soulmate & life partner, Gene Hege, Jr., who preceded him in death. Mr Polk is survived by his best friend, Gene, the Beagle pup. Don was loved greatly and will be deeply missed by the host of friends that he has gathered through his life journey. A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at 3:00 PM at Woodland Cemetery conducted by Pastor Daron Osborne. On-line condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
