Mr. Donald George Huey

Mr. Donald George Huey, 78, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Huey was born in Cambria County, Pennsylvania on September 20, 1932 to Lester Merle and Nina Carson Huey. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Huey was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from American Bakeries as a Route Salesman after 30 years of service. Mr. Huey was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Parks of Winston-Salem; a son, Patrick Huey and wife Susan of Clemmons; a daughter Sandra Jones and husband Jeff of Youngsville; their mother, Frances Rogerson of Wake Forest; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, David Allen Huey of Valdese and James Huey of Westlake, Ohio. A graveside service will be conducted 12:00 Noon Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with the Mr. James Percival officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am - 11:30 am Tuesday, prior to the service, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
