Mr. B.L. Foster

Mr. B. L. (Lee) Foster, 75, passed away October 12, 2012 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born October 11, 1937 in Gaffney, SC to the late Romie and Goldie Tutherow Huffstetler. Mr. Foster retired from Weyerhaeuser Corporation in 1994. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Up until his health issues, he thoroughly enjoyed his private flying time. He had a great love for music and could many times be found singing at the American Legion Heros club in Snellville, GA. He served for 11 years and retired from the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Cody Dean Foster. Surviving is his wife, Donna Rauls Foster of the home; daughter, Lisa Foster Barron (William) of Dacula, GA; son, Ronald Dean Foster of Gwinnett County, GA; son, Jerry Lee Foster of Albany, GA; sister, Margie Everhart of Lewisville, NC; sister-in-law, Shirley Rauls Sooy of Phillipsburg, NJ; 6 grandchildren, Meghan Box, Carter Barron, Grace & Eden Foster, Kelly & Amber Foster; 1 great-grandchild, Isabella Higgins and numerous extended family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly. A Graveside Service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 22nd at Woodland Cemetery with Rev. Jim Bush officiating. Anyone wishing to see Mr. Foster may come to the funeral home after 8:30am Monday.
