Mozelle Foltz Younts

Mrs. Mozelle Foltz Younts, 91, of Lexington, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 27, 1922 in Davidson County to Albert Meredith and Rosa Spaugh Foltz. Mrs. Younts was a lifelong member of Friedberg Moravian Church. She was a hard worker and enjoyed gardening, making Moravian cookies, chicken pies, and decorating cakes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper A. Younts; a son, Charles Gray Younts; and three brothers, Albert M. Foltz, Jr., Ray S. Foltz and Herbert E. Foltz. Surviving are one daughter, Linda Everhart and son-in-law, Steve Everhart; her grandchildren, David Everhart (Lisa), Doug Everhart (Susan), Danny Everhart (Julie), and Angela Younts; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 14 at Friedberg Moravian Church graveyard with the Rev. Jimmy Newsome and the Rev. G. Thomas Shelton officiating.
