Mozelle Clare Preston Lewis

BELEWS CREEK - Clare ""Mozelle"" Preston Lewis, 99, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 13, 1910 in Forsyth Co. to the late Gorrell and Nannie Neal Preston. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Newton Lewis; a son, Wayne Lewis; a daughter, Jane Venable; a granddaughter; and two brothers. Surviving are a grandson, and a great-granddaughter. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, May 29, 2009 at Goodwill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior in the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Hayworth Miller Funeral Home, PO Box 1506, Kernersville, NC 27285-1506.
