Mozelle Rothrock Jones

Mrs. Mozelle Rothrock Jones, 96, of Advance, went home to be with her ""Wonderful Savior"", Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born April 12, 1914 in Forsyth County to the late Gilbert E. and Clemmie Elizabeth Craver Rothrock. She was nicknamed ""Sweet Precious"" by her son, Terry and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a former member of Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, William Lambeth Jones, three sisters, Nora R. Thomas, Pauline R. Clowers, Evelyn R. Doty and one brother who died at birth. Surviving are two children, Terry K. Jones of Lexington and Ann J. Blatner and husband Robert C. of Advance; two grandchildren, Teresa J. Johnson of Winston-Salem, Christy J. Hall of Florence, SC; three step grandchildren, Joshua R. Blatner, Kelly B. Humiston, Jared Davis; six great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Gary Byrum officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
