Mitchell Perry Davidson

Kernersville – Mitchell Perry Davidson, 77, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at his home. He was born on March 4, 1947, in Forsyth County to the late Geneva Davidson. Mitchell was married to the love of his life, Becki Davidson, for 48 years. He was very handy and enjoyed fixing things and tinkering in his garage. While in his spare time, he loved to play and watch golf. Mitchell was a welder for Duke Energy for 33 years and retired in 2002. He was loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who will truly be missed.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Lockemy; his parents through marriage, Jack and Dorothy Holcomb; and brother-in-law, Mike Holcomb.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Becki Davidson; three children, Robert Davidson (Heidi), Shannon Corley, Brian Davidson; a daughter-in-law, Tracie Davidson; four grandchildren, Alex Corley, Rachel Corley, Mitchell Davidson, and Evelyn Davidson; one brother, Lester Cason (Pat); one sister, Barbara Cason; one sister-in-law, Janet Matthews; one brother-in-law, Andy Holcomb(Jenny); and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 pm, Friday, July 5, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with the Rev. Francis Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
