Mitchell Cowman

Mitchell Glenn Cowman, of Oak Ridge, NC was taken into Gods hands on July 17th, 2020.

Mitchell was born, in Indianapolis, IN. along with his twin brother Mason on May 11th, 2001.  In 2002 the family moved to Effingham, Il where Mitchell attended K-10 at Teutopolis. Mitchell finished his High School Junior/senior yr. in North Carolina and was accepted into the Engineering program at NC State University, where he was set to begin his sophomore year. Mitchell was active on the NC State quiz bowl team, NC state gaming team, and NC State Inner residence council (IRC) where he represented students and their interests regarding on-campus housing.

Mitchell was caring, sensitive, intelligent and incredibly patient. He loved to read, learn, go to the movies, game and spend time with his family and gaming community friends, where he felt loved and connected to those who shared his passion and interests.

Mitchell is survived by his Parents Ron & Melissa, a twin brother Mason (Oak Ridge, NC) a sister Madison & future brother-in-law Lewis Brown (San Antonio, TX) Grandparents Roger & Joan Newenham (Dieterich, IL), Glenn Cowman (Olney, IL) and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

A private celebration of Mitchells life was held at the Family’s home on Wednesday July 22nd. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Cowman family.
