Misty Jarvis

Misty Dawn Jarvis passed away on October 25th, 2022. She passed away unexpectedly while at her cabin in West Jefferson. Misty was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Ronald Pete Jarvis and Rhonda Gayvonne Campbell. She was a home maker for most of her life. Misty enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren the most. She loved her two dogs, Little bit and Sasha, very much. She will be remembered for her kind, loving and outgoing personality. Misty had such a bright smile and a huge, caring heart. She loved to have fun and knew how to spread joy to others. “To know her was to love her.” Misty is survived by her children Gabrielle Sanford and her husband Larry Higgins, Elizabeth Johnson, Emmarie Johnson, and Chandler Johnson, and her grandchildren; Nicholas Sanford, David Higgins, Ryland Higgins, Colten Higgins, Piper Higgins, and Kayla Neader. She is survived by her partner Todd Nichols, her brother Brett Campbell, and her uncles Graylon Campbell and Joel Campbell. She was preceded in death by her mother Rhonda Campbell, her father Ronald Jarvis, her niece Kayleigh Campbell, her nephew Kamryn Campbell, and sister Pamela Jordan. At this time, we are scheduling a memorial service at her favorite cabin, information about this service will be sent out at a later date.
