Miss Annie Kathleen 'Kitty' Bullins

Annie Kathleen ""Miss Kitty"" Bullin, 86, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 5, 2012. She was born in Stokes County to Rufus F. and Ethie Martin Nelson on July 27, 1926. In 1957 she married her long-time sweetheart, Jim Bullin. She was a faithful member of Crestwood Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. Miss Kitty retired from AT&T with 38 years of service and was an avid Duke Basketball Fan. She was also an avid gardener and dog lover. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Hall, Angela Nelson and Maxine Cromer; two brothers, Johnny Nelson and Eddie Nelson. She is survived by two sons, Timothy Bullin and wife Monique of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and Randall Bullin of the home; one brother, Claddie Nelson and wife Opal of Walnut Cove; two sisters, Nadine Whicker of Kernersville and Shelby Walker and husband Larry of Lexington; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services for ""Miss Kitty"" will be held at Crestwood Baptist Church Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev. David Wood, Rev. Bill Guthrie and Rev. Larry Walker officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Kate B.
