Minnie Davis

Mrs. Minnie Irene Everette Davis, 93, passed away December 20, 2017. She was born May 2, 1924 to the late Thomas Everette and Carrie Ballard Everette. She retired after working at Tucker's Restaurant in Winston-Salem. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Davis, and two brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her two children, Ron Davis and wife Meta and Rachel Miller and husband Barry; a granddaughter, Angela Davis; two grandsons, Charlie Herrin and wife Tiffany and Mac Davis and wife Jessica. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with the Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
