Minna Wheeler Threatt

Mrs. Minna Wheeler Threatt, 83, of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully Thursday, September 12, 2013. She was born April 7, 1930 in Lancaster, SC to Miles and Rozell Wheeler. She was an active and devoted member at Robinhood Road Baptist Church. Mrs.Threatt was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years, Sammy Edward, a daughter, Theresa Vickers, and by four sisters and two brothers. Surviving are a son, Dennis Threatt; three granddaughters, Tiffany Evans, Stephanie DiBello and husband, Chris, and Samantha Vickers; three great grandsons, Jacob and Nathan Evans, and Graham DiBello; one brother, Arthur Wheeler and wife, Frances, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Robinhood Road Baptist Church with Rev. John E. Hackworth, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Sunday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
