Millie Sapp

Mrs. Millie Marie Ball Sapp, 85, of Kernersville, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on October 20, 1932 in Forsyth County to John Henry Ball and M. Lelia Mitchell Ball. After 49 years of service, Mrs. Sapp retired from Hanes Hosiery. Her heart was her family and she was very loved by many.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sapp was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Ellis Sapp; two sons, Gary Edward Sapp and John Anthony Sapp; and a host of other family members. She is survived by four daughters, Patricia Sapp Waddell (Wayne), Deborah Sapp Jarrett (Bill), Karen Sapp Wilson (Clayton), and Penny Sapp Myers (Dwayne Eads); eighteen grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; one brother, Johnny Ball; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Sapp will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel with Dr. Barney Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 11:45 am prior to the service.
