Millard 'Mick' Wilson

WILSON - PINNACLE Mr. Millard ""Mick"" Wilson, age 77, of Pinnacle, NC passed away early Thursday morning at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC after an extended illness. He was born in Stokes County to Lige Lee and Mecia Cain Wilson. Mr. Wilson served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, was a retired farmer, and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Mary Lou Marion Wilson; two granddaughters: Savanah Daniel Mikels and Kayla Ranee Pike; three brothers: Mack, Paul, and Jimmy Wilson; two sisters: Daisy Dillard and Dolly Wilson. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Michelle Wilson Pike; his parents; eight brothers; and four sisters. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday morning, April 29, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Pardue officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens in Mt. Airy, NC with military rites provided by VFW Post 2019 of Mt. Airy and VFW Post 9436 of Pilot Mountain. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel Sunday evening, April 28, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to: Mt.
