Milena Isabel Alvarez

Join us to celebrate Milena's joyful life at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 6-8 pm Friday, April 3, 2009 for visitation and for the Mass of Resurrection at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 4, 2009 at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, with Father Joe Kelleher officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. Milena Isabel Alvarez was born January 31, 1989 in Caracas, Venezuela as a loving gift from God to her parents, Guillermo and Luiselena Alvarez, sister, Larisa, and grandmother, Ana Isabel Acosta. She graduated from Bishop McGuiness Catholic High School and was a freshman at ELON University. Milena enjoyed life to the fullest, touching and inspiring people around her with determination, grace, and kindness. Her passion was family, friends, food, and competitive volleyball. We thank God for blessing us with Milena's presence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brenner Children Hospital or Make a Wish Foundation.
