Mildred Tise

Mrs. Mildred Potts Tise, 95, passed away at Trinity Glen on July 11, 2022. Mildred was born on February 13, 1927, to Luther Lee and Sallie Cline Potts in Davie County. She worked in the textiles industry. Mildred was a member at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church where she was well known and loved by her church family. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Tise; and her first husband, Alden Richard Ledford; as well as brothers, Isom Potts, Luther Potts, Julius Fenmore Potts, and Martin Wesley Potts; sisters, Elizabeth Potts, Kathleen Fender, and Rosa Jane Smith. She is survived by her son, Lannie Ray Ledford (Judy); daughter, Susan Ledford Andrews (Tim); grandchildren, Cyndi Gentry (Jason), Kolin Andrews, Joshua Andrews (Whitni); great grandchildren, Dylan Luper, and Brayden Gentry; and many beloved nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, with Dr. Mary Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Mock’s Methodist Church cemetery. The family extends a thank you to Trellis Supportive Care and Trinity Glen for the loving care that was given.
