Mrs. Mildred Pauline McGee Masser, 94, of Winston-Salem, passed away on May 3, 2016 at Salemtowne Health Care. Mildred was born on May 6, 1921 in Forsyth County to Julius Marvin McGee and Myrtle Ophelia Shelton. Mildred went to South High School. She was a member of Immanuel Moravian Church where she served as a diener at Lovefeast and when it closed, she transferred her membership to Konnoak Hills Moravian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herman (""Bud"") Paul Masser. Mildred is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Masser Black (Bobby ""Robert"" Black); her two granddaughters, Sarah Black and Courtney Hepler (Bradley Allen); 6 loving great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Salem Moravian Graveyard with Rev. John D. Rights and Rev. Dr. Daniel Crews officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens' Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
