Mildred Arnold

Mildred (Mickey) Arnold, 88, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Mickey was born on August 2, 1933, in Atkins, VA to the late Bruce Arnold and Virginia Arnold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving brothers; Donald Arnold, Butch Arnold, and a loving sister; Anne Arnold. She is survived by her daughter; Beth Milleson, her son; Randy Parlier, her son-in-law; Bryan Milleson, her three grandchildren; Taylor Milleson and wife Ellen, Nathan Milleson and wife Courtney, Halleigh Milleson, two great grandchildren; Zeke Milleson and Lily Milleson, and her two loving sisters; Judy Dishner and Janice Martin. Living in Lexington, NC, she worked as a bookkeeper for Lexington City Schools for many years. She was a member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being a member of the women’s circle group. She also cooked many meals for her church family and neighbors. After retirement, Mickey enjoyed time cooking, baking, shopping, watching movies, planting beautiful flowers, and being with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren (to whom she was Mimi) and taking trips with her sisters. Mickey always displayed an abundance of love and care to the people around her. Her love will remain with us for the rest of our lives.  A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2022 at Parklawn Memorial Park.   In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
