Michael Reid Wilson

Mr. Michael Reid Wilson, 38, of Greensboro, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015. He was born April 28, 1976 in Forsyth County. He graduated from Ledford High School in 1994 and was employed with UPS for over 20 years. Michael was an exceptional husband and father who loved his family very much. Surviving are his wife, Deanna Freeman Wilson; two children, Cameron and Ansley; his mother, Rita Paddison Wilson; his father, Terry Reid Wilson; two sisters, Dawn Johnson (Kevin) of Winston-Salem and Kelly Laughlin (Thad) of Murrells Inlet, SC; one brother, Jeff Wilson of Winston-Salem; his grandfather, Emmett Paddison of Middle River, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Faith Church with Pastor Mike Gates officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Green Hill Cemetery in Greensboro. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for Autism to the Greensboro TEACCH Center, Special Education School, 925 Revolution Mill Dr. #7, Greensboro, NC 27405.
