Michael Lee Pressley

Mr. Michael Lee Pressley, 77, peacefully took his heavenly flight home from Village Care of King in King, North Carolina on December 18, 2023. Michael was born in Anderson, South Carolina to the late James C. Pressley and Ann Parnell Pressley. He was preceded in death by his sister Betty Hammond, and three brothers: Ralph Pressley, Randolph Pressley, and Robert Pressley. Michael is survived by his children Crystal Pressley of Florida, Denise Nealy, Lugoff, of South Carolina, Chris Pressley of Columbia, South Carolina, and Jaime Pressley of Elgin South Carolina. Also, a special “sister” Judy Lupo (Ed) of Rural Hall, NC. Mr. Pressley served for four years in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Guam. He was very proud to enlist and serve his country. He also retired from Fisher/Rex Sandwich Company. Michael was saved and baptized in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The last two years of his life was spent at Village Care where he tried to help his fellow residents and enjoyed joking with the staff to lift their spirits. The family would like to wish a special thanks to the staff at Village Care Nursing Home who provided compassionate care and special thanks to Tiffany Muse, NP, Lindsay Miller, CNA, Averi Cook, LPN, and Myrtle Allen, CNA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 290 at 446 South Main Street King, North Carolina 27021. A funeral service will be held on December 28, 2023, at 12 noon at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel of Devotion with Pastor Mark Leone officiating from Woodland Baptist Church.
