Michael Polinsky

Oak Ridge, NC - Michael Polinsky, 87, went home to be with his Savior, surrounded by his loving family on, April 18, 2017. Mike was born in Atlantic, PA on December 10, 1929 to Michael and Eva Vallana Polinsky. He was a member of Community Lutheran Church in Summerfield. He retired from Derry Westinghouse. He enjoyed watching the Pirates and Steelers, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Smith Polinsky; his son, Danny Polinsky; three sisters, Catherine Benedict, Mary Ann Levandosky, Lucille Frayvolt; and two brothers, Stephen and Joseph Polinsky.

Surviving are his son, Michael Polinsky (Darcy); three daughters, Lugene Amond (Charles), Janice Grabeman (Daniel), and Kelly Wagner (Daniel); daughter- in-law, Linda Polinsky; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren with one on the way; three brothers, John, Robert, and Charles Polinsky; brother-in-law Jacob Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Roy L. Carter officiating.
