Michael R. Noell

Michael R. Noell, age 59, formerly of Winston-Salem, died peacefully Tuesday, July 21 in Charlottesville, VA. His wife Joyce Stewart Noell, also of Winston-Salem, predeceased him. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Godwin B. Noell of Greensboro, NC. Michael is survived by his brother Godwin L. Noell of Goshen, Connecticut and sister Charlotte Chapman of Arlington, VA; nephew Stephen Noell of New Hartford Connecticut; three nieces, Sandra Alibozek of Upton, Massachusetts, Christine Noell, of Goshen, Connecticut, and Elizabeth Arguelles of Herndan, VA; several grandnephews and grandnieces, Riley McAlpine, Kylie, Sarah, and Jenna Noell, all of Connecticut, Jessie, Brett and Cole Alibozek of Massachusetts, and Everett Arguelles of Virginia. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations may be made to Hospice Care of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
