Michael "Mike" Hendricks

Mr. Michael ""Mike"" Kevin Hendricks, 52, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1962 in Hartford, CT. Mike was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church. He coached baseball for many years at the Winston-Salem National and Southwest Forsyth Little Leagues and at the YMCA. Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow and Lois Sexton and his father, Larry D. Hendricks. Surviving are his wife, Connie Burke Hendricks; one son, Cameron; one daughter, Michaela; his mother, Janet Sexton Hendricks; one sister, Amy H. Rawlings (Pat); two brothers, Todd Hendricks (Eileen) and Donovan Hendricks (Robin); a cousin, Mark Kirk (Jackie)and their son, Jordan; a niece, Haley; a nephew, Donovan Lee; father and mother-in-law, Rev. Ray Burke and wife Kay. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Clemmons Moravian Church with Rev. Scott Venable officiating. Interment will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
