Michael Brent Grubbs

Kernersville - Mr. Michael Brent Grubbs age 55 of Winston-Salem died Saturday, September 26, 2009. A native of Forsyth County he was the son of Ruth Knight and Marvin Burton Grubbs. Michael was employed with Brickey's Heating and Air and later owned Grubbs Heating and Air. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was his father, Marvin Burton Grubbs. Survivors include his daughter Nina Michelle Grubbs of Walnut Cove; mother Ruth K. Grubbs of Kernersville; Sister Joyce Sides and husband Jimmy of Kernersville; girlfriend Janet Creason of Winston-Salem; grandchildren Jamie and Isabella Tilley. Graveside services will be held 4:00PM Monday, September 28, 2009, at Gospel Light Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30PM, Monday, September 28, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel prior to the service. Condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
