Michael Dancy

Mr. Michael Lee Dancy, 43, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021.

Michael was born September 5, 1977, in Italy to Robert and Rená Dancy.  He graduated from Reynolds High School and attended Western Carolina University.  He loved the Lord and was a member of Revo Church.  In his free time, Michael enjoyed playing golf and basketball and was a fan of all sports.  He had a big personality and loved to clown around and joke with his family and friends. Most of all, he was a loving father to his two children, Caeden and Aubrey.  Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother, Donald Wade Dancy.

Michael is survived by his children, Caeden Dancy and Aubrey Dancy; former wife, Allie Dancy; parents, Robert and Rená Dancy; brother, Steven Dancy and wife, Shai; aunt and uncle, Cindy and Rick Flanner; niece, Natalie Quick; nephew, Mason Dancy; and several cousins.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, August 9, 2021 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior.
