Meroba Anne Spaugh Millaway

Mrs. Meroba Anne Spaugh Millaway, 74, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born to the late Paul Gordon Spaugh and Meroba Alice Wells Spaugh on October 2, 1948, in Forsyth County, NC. Anne loved to garden, she especially enjoyed tending to her flowers. Anne was an amazing cook and enjoyed gatherings with her family.  She was loving and selfless and made everyone feel as if they were part of the family.  She was a second mother to many and everyone’s “Nana”.  She will forever be cherished as a sweet and kindhearted soul who was beloved by all. Anne attended Calvary Baptist Church’s Sunday School Class for many years and was a faithful believer of God. She was preceded in death by her parents. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Mark Millaway; 5 children, Jerry Mathis (Sherry), Jennifer Cobb, Sarah Millaway, Josh Millaway (David), and Sam Millaway (Judy); grandchildren, Caitlin, Megan, Zach, Kali, Madison, Lylah, SJ, Emily, Gavin, and Brianna; brother, Wayne Spaugh (Mary Sue); two great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 2:00pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Jerry Morrison officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
