Melvin Harold DeHart

Mr. Melvin Harold DeHart, 56, of Mocksville passed away Wednesday October 29, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. DeHart was born in Rutherford County to the late Thomas Jacob and Mary Lou Calloway DeHart on September 7, 1952. Mr. DeHart was an avid fisherman who also loved growing beautiful roses. He was a kind and helpful man to many. Mr. DeHart is survived by his wife Pauline of the home; a daughter Brandy Laws and husband Wayne; a granddaughter Brianna Laws all of Rutherford County; a sister Linda Hunt of Davie County; a brother Roger DeHart and wife Laura of Advance; two nephews Glenn Hunt, Jr. and David Hunt. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
