Melton Tucker Robertson

Melton Tucker Robertson (Blackie) Robertson - Mr. Melton Tucker Robertson (Blackie) loving husband father, grandfather, great-grandfather passed away Tuesday December 6, 2011 at the Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Davie County March 29, 1931 to the late Harmon and Ester Lee Williams Robertson. He was a member of Robinhood Road Baptist Church for 50 years and retired from Jones TV after 55 years of service. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Margie Brannon Robertson, two daughters, Vicki Davis (David) and Ginger Simpson (Robert); Four grandchildren, Jeff Mahathey, Misty Tuttle, Wendy Caudle, Buffy Williams; Seven great-grand children, Deseree, Sage, Tristyn, Marlee, Kadyn, Hollis and Landon; Four brothers, Bunny, Dois, Jerry and Jimmy and one sister, Mona Lee Brewer. He is preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 1:00pm Friday December 9, 2011 at Hayworth Miller - Silas Creek.
