Melba Carolyn Mabe Peddycord

KERNERSVILLE - Melba Carolyn Mabe Peddycord, 70, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born November 6, 1941 in Stokes Co. to the late Guindolyn and Grace Tuttle Mabe. Carolyn was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Robert Wayne Peddycord; a son, Jeff Peddycord (Phyllis); two daughters, Rhonda Landreth (Brian) and Debbie Peddycord-Hydorn; eight grandchildren, Robert, Chris and Tyler Landreth, Emily, Wade and Matthew Peddycord, Timmy and Dalton Hydorn; two great-grandchildren, Rachel and William; and two sisters, Donna Skarzynski (Mike) and Irma Swain (Tim). A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Pisgah United Methodist Church with Rev. Hagan McClellan officiating. Inurnment will follow in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday, October 12, 2012 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
