Melba Hicks Dymott

Mrs. Melba Hicks Dymott, 84 of Clemmons, died Monday, July 28, 2008 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House. Mrs. Dymott was born July 29, 1923 in Forsyth County, a daughter of the late Billy Gilbert Hicks and the late Ocie Shore Hicks. She was a homemaker who loved to make cookies, and was a member of the Mary Martha Class at Pinedale Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Dymott in 1985, her son Tom Dymott and 3 brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Nifong and husband Mike, granddaughters, Emily Nifong and Gracie Nifong, and sister, Kathleen Decker. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Thursday July 31, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Chapel with Rev. Bob McCaskill and Rev. Bill McKenzie officiating. Interment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care or Pinedale Christian Church.
