Melanie Neal Harmon

Mrs. Melanie Neal Harmon, 48, passed away Tuesday, February 05, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 20, 1964 in Forsyth County to JoAnne Hester and Jesse Neal. Mrs. Harmon taught Spanish at Walkertown Elementary School for 24 years. She loved to hear her children sing. She was preceded in death by her mother; one sister, Micki Thomas. Surviving is her husband, Jason Harmon of the home; three daughters, Annie Tesh, Rachel Tesh, and Emily Tesh; her father; two brothers, Mike Neal, Mark Neal and wife Rhonda; three nephews, Sean Neal, Cody Thomas, Jesse Wayne Neal; two nieces, Erin Thomas, Casie Neal. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, February 8, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Phil Wagoner officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.
