Kernersville – Mrs. Megan Lindsay Parks Williams, 31, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Kernersville Medical Center. 

Megan was born on February 18, 1993, in Forsyth County, NC. 

She loved to play Fortnite, and watching Supernatural and scary movies with her husband and her kids. She loved animals and getting her nails done with her mom. 

Megan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Viola and Burr Lee Burchette; her mother-in-law, Marsha Williams; and her uncle, Steve Handy. 

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Scott Williams; her mother, Tina Burchette Smith (Robert); one daughter, Skylar Layne Williams; one son, Bentley Scott Williams; sister, Hope Albertson (Daniel); one brother, Logan Parks; niece and nephew, Zander and Kenzie; numerous cousins; and her Aunt Tonya and Uncle Tony Burchette. 

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Kerwin Baptist Church with Pastor Daniel Hawtree officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 am – 11:45 am prior to the service at the church. A private burial will be held for the family on Monday, October 21, 2024. 

Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Williams family.
