Meacy Jefferson Williams

KERNERSVILLE - Mrs. Meacy Jefferson Williams, age 66, died Friday, September 3, 2010, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. Meacy was born on January 14, 1944, in Surry County, to the late Roscoe and Irene Reynolds Jefferson. She was employed by Burns Aerospace. Surviving are her husband, James A. Williams, of the home; a son, James T. ""Tim"" Williams, of Kernersville; six sisters, Pansy Pedigo, Shirley Jones, Gaynelle Hawks, Doris Bullins, Josie Widner and Sarah Redmond; and two brothers, Wayne and Roscoe Jefferson. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 6, 2010, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Glenn Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown.
