May Belle Griffith Gibson

RURAL HALL Mrs. May Belle Griffith Gibson passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Wise County, VA on December 9, 1927 to the late Ethel Mefford Griffith Kilgore and John Griffith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Gibson. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Fields and Pete Meade of Rural Hall; two grandchildren: Candace Barnes and husband, Brian of Rural Hall and Donald Slone and wife, Chastity of Norton, VA; honorary granddaughter, TeCeelola Rose and her children; six great-grandchildren: Katlyn & Abby Slone, Jared & Tori Barnes, Seth Snyder and Dylan Isgett; great, great-grandson, Justin Treece; two sisters: Pauline and Frances Harding both of Wise, VA; two brothers: Troy Kilgore of Wise and Delmar Kilgore of York, SC; and also a host of other family and friends.
