Maxx Alexander Ball

Walkertown – Maxx Alexander Ball, 13, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024, at SECU Hospice Care Center. He was born on October 12, 2011, in Forsyth County to Glenn Ball III and Lauren Ashley Ball.

In addition to his parents, Maxx is survived by his sister, Karlie Ball; maternal grandparents, Trina McGlamery (husband, Ed) and Johnny Handy (wife, Brenda); paternal grandparents, Glenn Ball, Jr. and Marilee Ball; one aunt, Amy Ball; cousin, Kairo Malloy; four frogs, Kermit, Snotz, John Cena, and Jaba the Hut; and his dog, Beast.

A funeral service for Maxx will be held at 4:30pm on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Edgewood Baptist Church with Rev. Kent Hogan officiating. A private family interment will be held at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Janes Fund at https://www.shinelikejane.org/donations, to the Atrium Foundation at https://www.atriumhealthfoundation.org/get-involved/donate/ specifically the Arts for Life program or Pediatric Oncology program, or Make-A-Wish Central and Western NC https://wish.org/nc

Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family. 

The family ask that everyone please wear either green or the Frogs Hate Cancer shirts to the service.
