Maxine Trivette Hendrix

Mrs. Maxine Trivette Hendrix, 81, of Advance passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born May 20, 1932 in Wilkes Co. to Rufus Paul Trivette, Sr.and Etta Nicholson Trivette. Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Cornatzer United Methodist Church and worked as a teacher's assistant and bus driver for Shady Grove Elementary School for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Monticello Hendrix and a sister, Bobbie Jean Trivette. Surviving are three sons, Jason, Jerome and Jarell Hendrix; a granddaughter, Savannah Hendrix; a brother, R.P. Trivette and wife Pam and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Cornatzer United Methodist Church with Rev. Shane Young and Rev. Jack Luther officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
