Kernersville - Mrs. Maxine Motsinger Fulp, 85, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born November 25, 1925 in Forsyth Co. to the late Perve James and Elva Elizabeth Stafford Motsinger. She was a member of New Journey Fellowship Church and retired from the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System. In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Wayne Fulp; a daughter, Libby Fulp Idol; three sisters, Jean Miller, Rachel Smith and Ruth Motsinger; and a brother, Ray Motsinger. Surviving are her son, Kenny Fulp and wife, Lynn; two grandchildren, Christy Paige Idol and Steven Wayne Fulp and wife, Melissa; two great grandchildren, Drew and Aaron Warren; and one brother, Gary Motsinger and wife, Linda. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM, Monday, February 14, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with the Rev. Tim Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
