Matthew Odell Peterson

Matthew Odell Peterson, 27, of Winston Salem, passed away unexpected at his home on Sunday March 8, 2009. He was born December 11, 1981, in Forsyth Co. to Ronald Odell, and Wanda Smith Peterson. He was employed with Lowder Construction Company; he was a beloved parent, son and grandson. Preceded in death by his grandfather Richard B. Day. Survived by his wife Misty Jarvis, one son Noble Peterson, two daughters Elizabeth and Emily Peterson, his mother Wanda Peterson of Lexington, father Ronald Odell Peterson of Sparta, one sister Morgan Peterson of Lexington, Maternal grandmother Martha Day of Winston Salem, paternal grandmother Virginia Street of TN, special friend Todd Nichols of East Bend. A funeral Service will be held Friday, March 13, 2009 at Grace Baptist Temple, at 2; 00 p.m., with Rev. Ed Sears officiating . Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
