Mr. Matthew Homer Malcom, 53, passed away July 11, 2016. He was born October 14, 1962 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Mark Clive Malcom, Sr. and Carol Goff Malcom. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Templeton and his step-mother, Mildred Malcom. Matthew was co-owner of Service First Express in Winston-Salem. He was proud to be a mason and was a fun loving, generous person who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will always be remembered as a family oriented, loving father and brother and life companion.
Matthew is survived by his daughter, Meagan Malcom; his fiancée, Melonie Carroll; his sister, Carol Ann Tilley (Michael); his brothers, Bud Malcom (Sandi), Dino Massey, and Chris Malcom. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00pm, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Anthony Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until 3:30pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
