Marzell Bowers Price

Mrs. Marzell Bowers Price, 79, of Winston-Salem went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 23, 1936 in Wilkes County, the daughter of the late Robert Laude and Etta Jane Hutchinson Bowers. Mrs. Price was a fifty year member of South Fork Church of Christ. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife. She loved life and her Lord. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David William Price; her son, Mark David Price; five sisters, Genevea Bowers, Mabel Nicholson, Nova Potts, Della Bowers and Grace Foust and three brothers, Clay Bowers, Elmer Bowers and Gar Bowers. Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Price Disher and husband, Mark of Walnut Cove; one granddaughter, Megan Bradley and husband, Cory of Colfax; one great-granddaughter, Madison Bradley; one sister, Ella Mae Weatherman of Lewisville; and numerous other loving relatives. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Benevolent Fund of South Fork Church of Christ, 205 Keating Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27104 in her honor.
