Williard- Mary Lee Ina Harris Williard, 93, went to be with the Lord, June 21, 2009. Mary was born in Wilkes County, January 7, 1916 and was the third of twelve children of Ethel Holloway and Robert Harris. Mary was a long-time member of Advent Moravian Church, The Senior Friends Class, The Nettie Gobble Sunday School Class, and Women's Fellowship Day Circle. Preceding her in death was her husband, John Edward Williard, only son, Robert James Williard and nine brothers and sisters. Surviving are two grandchildren, Michael Thomas and Amanda Lucinda, one great-grandson, Tony Lee Taylor. Two sisters, Florine Nicks and Jan Gorsuch (Jim) and there are many loving and caring friends, family members, nieces and nephews. All were visiting with her and caring for her needs during her last days. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am, Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Advent Moravian Church, 1514 W. Clemmonsville Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27127. The Rev. Dan Conrad and the Rev. Roger Kimball will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway, Tuesday evening, June 23, 2009 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
