Mary Ann Whitehead

Ms. Mary Ann Whitehead, 77, of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born November 18, 1931 in San Jose, Calif. to Frank and Molly Wheat Alves. Mrs. Whitehead was retired from AT&T. Surviving are a son, Charles A. McGee, Jr. and wife, Donna of Kernersville; two grandchildren, Justin A. McGee and wife, Mandy of Winston-Salem, Erin E. McGee of Sanford, N.C.; a niece, Kathy Belton and her daughter, Jennifer; and two special friends, Tom and Florence. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Gur cemetery with Dr. Bill Ireland officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.. Online condolences may be made to hayworth-miller.com
